
Dr. Rowan Miller
Dr. Rowan Miller is a Consultant Medical Oncologist specializing in gynae-oncology and early phase clinical trials at University College London and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals. Her research interests include novel therapies for gynecological cancer and genomics and biomarkers use to guide patients’ therapy.
Dr. Miller completed her undergraduate training at the University of Oxford and her clinical training at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals, London. She trained in Medical Oncology at University College London and was subsequently awarded a Cancer Research UK Fellowship and attained a PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research. During her PhD she won Merit awards for her research from the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and the Royal Society of Medicine. She has published research articles on novel therapeutic targets for ovarian clear cell cancers and presented at international conferences. Following her PhD, she completed a fellowship at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard University.
Dr. Miller is involved in a number of clinical trials and basic science research projects across the two academic centres and is a member of the ESMO Personalized Medicine and Translational Research Committee.
