Dr. Abeer Alsayegh

Dr Abeer Alsaegh is Head of Genetics Department at Sultan Qaboos University and Senior Consultant of Medical Genetics and Cancer Genetics at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital. She is also current president of Oman Society for Genetic Medicine. Her clinical and academic interests include familial cancer syndromes, developmental disorders and autosomal recessive syndromes associated with intellectual disability. She established the cancer genetics clinic in Oman, she is also an active Oman Medical Specialty Board trainer.
