Dear Colleagues,
It is a privilege to welcome you to the 14th Pan-Arab Transfusion Medicine Conference. As President of the Scientific Planning Committee, I am excited to witness the diverse group of professionals, academics, and experts who have come together to share their insights and shape the future of transfusion medicine.
This conference stands as a pillar of cooperation and development. It is a chance for guests to not only participate in more than 50 enlightening lectures, as well as panel discussions and workshops related to transfusion medicine, but also network with and meet other practitioners of the field. The conference also serves as a gateway to the kind of innovation that can only be achieved through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Some of the conference sessions are dedicated to topics such as patient blood management, massive hemorrhage management, emergency preparedness/crisis management, and more. The workshops, meanwhile, will highlight topics such as transfusion reactions – best practices for nurses and technologists, quality in donation, and quality system for blood centers and transfusion services, auditing principles, accreditation and certification.
I would like to take a moment to recognize the tremendous efforts of our organizing teams, whose commitment has ensured that this event will be impactful and enriching.
