Ms. Nadya Al-Rauili has a master’s degree in Public Administration with specialization in Public Policy and had been the Executive Director of the Home Healthcare Services (HHCS) and Private Nursing Services (PNS) at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) for over 25 years. She has been instrumental in leading her HHCS and PNS teams’ efforts in achieving the Planetree Gold Standard in Person Centered Care Certification for each service. She has also led the Joint Commission International (JCI-I) accreditation efforts for HHCS.
Ms. Nadya obtained her Bachelor’s in Nursing Science at Qatar University. In addition, she obtained her Business Management, HR Management and Public Relation Diploma from Cambridge Training College in the United Kingdom. During her professional development journey, Ms. Nadya developed an interest in post-graduate studies, and she completed an Executive Business Management course from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM).
Ms. Nadya attended the Qatari Leadership Centre and achieved her Leadership Program and Leadership for Change qualifications. She became the first Qatari Case Manager responsible for both In-patient and Community patients and developed the process to support nurses in the community for HMC. She is also one of the pioneers who helped to establish the Home Healthcare Service (HHCS) which is one of the first community services in the Middle East to be JCIA accredited.
Ms. Nadya is part of the Corporate Nursing and Midwifery Executive Leadership team and has been involved from the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in the taskforce responsible for nursing care; she was appointed Community Nursing Lead for COVID-19 facilities. As an accomplished healthcare professional with many years of experience, Ms. Nadya now focuses mainly on community healthcare. She is passionate about enhancing high-quality community healthcare in Qatar and to achieve this through promoting evidence-based staff training and education supported by mentoring programs.
