In advance of your admission
It is not necessary to contact the hospital prior to your admission if you are going to Hamad General Hospital or Women's Hospital.
For patients attending The Cuban Hospital, the National Center for Cancer Care and Research, Rumailah Hospital and Al Khor Hospital, please contact the hospital on the day before admission to confirm your admission date.
Access
All patients can have access to an HMC hospital interpreter service, which can be requested prior to admission through the hospital nursing team. If you are a wheelchair user, Rumailah Hospital, Al Khor Hospital and the National Center for Cancer Care and Research will allow someone to accompany you from the main entrance of the hospital to the ward if you phone ahead.
