Test ID: IIF IgG
Indirect Immunofluorescence IgG
Indirect Immunofluoresence Stain
Useful For

Demonstration of human IgG in tissues and assessment of pattern, extent and intensity of glomerular staining. Assess presence and pattern of IgG deposits in other sites (Tubular basement membrane, blood vessels, interstitium)

Method name and description
  • Polyclonal Rabbit Anti-Human IgG/FITC.
  • Immunofluorescence stain on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue section
Reporting name

IgG Indirect Immunofluorescence

Clinical information

IgG FITC reacts with the g-chains of human IgG. Traces of contaminating antibodies have been removed by solid-phase absorption. Polyclonal Rabbit Anti-Human IgG conjugate produced from a purified immunoglobulin fraction of rabbit antiserum. It is essential to supplement clinical findings and histopathology in the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases. It permits early diagnosis, treatment, and subsequent monitoring of disease activity in patients with these potentially life-threatening disorders.
