B-Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) is a disorder of B lymphoblast that accounts mostly in children with acute leukemia and a fraction of adults with acute leukemia.

B-ALL is broadly categorized as either having repetitive hereditary variations from the norm or not having repetitive hereditary variations. Repetitive hereditary variations from the norm incorporate both balanced translocations and aneuploidy. This FISH panel is used to distinguish the foremost common, and/or prognostically critical abnormalities in B-ALL.

FISH studies are valuable aids to total chromosome studies, especially when taken after an abnormal clone, assessing relapse and progression. This also serves as an aide to conventional chromosome studies.
