Women’s Wellness and Research Center (WWRC) is the largest women’s tertiary hospital in the country dedicated to delivering family-centred care to women and newborns. The hospital is equipped with a large Emergency Department, seven Operating Theatres, 26 Labour and Delivery rooms, 224 inpatient rooms with en-suite bathrooms and several specialised outpatient clinics for Obstetrics and Gynaecology. WWRC also houses more than 128 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit cots for the care of critically ill newborns.

This facility has over 2,000 highly trained staff who have extensive experience in gynaecology, obstetrics and newborn care. It provides specialised care services for up to 30,000 women monthly through all stages of their life.

Parking



Parking for patients and visitors is available at WWRC for a small fee – QR5 for stays of more than 30 minutes, then QR3 for each additional hour. Valet parking is available at HMC hospitals and facilities for a small charge.

Visiting Times



WWRC follows a patient-directed visitation policy to ensure patients feel supported and always cared for. The hospital welcomes visitors and family members, respecting the patient’s preferences regarding who they wish to have by their side.

Family presence is mutually developed between the patient/resident, their support network and the care team ensuring that care and recovery remain the top priority.​
