If you are in labor, our team from the Emergency Department will transfer you to the Labor and Delivery unit or the operating theater. Based on their assessment of both your health and that of your baby, our team of doctors, midwives and nurses will recommend a vaginal or a C-section led delivery.
If you arrive at the Emergency Department in the later stage of labor and the delivery of your baby is imminent, we have three labor and delivery rooms in the emergency department where our team of doctors and midwives will safely deliver your baby. After the birth, you and your baby will be transported to one of our private rooms and cared for by our dedicated team.
