Hamad General Hospital Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for patients who require urgent medical attention. It is not necessary for patients to contact the Emergency Department prior to their arrival. Patients who are aged 14 years or under should proceed directly to the Pediatric Emergency Center (PEC). Children with trauma or burns should proceed directly to the Emergency Department.
