Learning goals & Objectives:
The lectures and workshops have been selected around areas for improvement of basic knowledge and this will empower the target audience to participate in topics deemed consistent with their needs.
1. To provide Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities to train and raise the standard of the practice of dentistry in Qatar.
2. To provide a selective aspect overview, review and update on clinical dentistry pertaining to the practice of Oral Medicine, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, Periodontology, Prosthodontics, Endodontics and Primary Care Dentistry at a standard effective
3. To identify, discuss and demonstrate an appropriate level or standard of delivery requisite of a participant to commence specialist training.
4. To state, discuss and demonstrate an appropriate standard pertaining to the above for primary care dentists, to help to raise their acumen and standard of practice via the knowledge transfer as indicated, interpreted, and discussed via the individual learning objectives.
General Learning goals & Objectives - Hands-on:
1. To allow participants to understand, observe, explain, explore, discuss, be familiar with all the hand-on practical treatment modality and interventions
2. To consider and assess appropriate clinical circumstances, including diagnosis, treatment options, viable choices and limitations which lead to the execution of treatment modalities and technique pertaining to the above
3. Where applicable, to develop and acquire acumens in relation to the 11 hands-on elements described herein, embarking upon a deeper learning, and understanding on how these techniques can be applied in appropriate circumstances in the practice of dentistry.
