The Intermediate Quality Improvement Course (IQIC) is developed to provide more in-depth knowledge and skills in quality improvement science methodology. This is the first of its kind intermediate level course designed to complement the Basic and Advanced Level.
This program has been launched on May 2021 with the virtual platform format in accordance with the restrictions due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. Then in 2022, the program has moved to In-Person Sessions which provides the participants opportunities for great interaction, tabletop exercises, coaching and facilitation from the faculty and QI experts. This activity is an Accredited Group Learning Activity Category 1 as defined by the Ministry of Public Health’s Department of Healthcare Professions - Accreditation Section and is approved for a maximum of 11.5 hours.
IQIC last session was held on December 12, 13 & 14, 2023 at Bayt Al Dhiyafah, Hamad Medical City. This session was attended by a total of 25 participants.
