Our team works closely with other medical departments within the hospital, including the Intensive Care Unit, Emergency, Clinical Imaging and Laboratory. We also work collaboratively with the Medicine Department at Hamad General Hospital and the National Center for Cancer Care and Research.
In terms of diagnostic services, the specialized services we offer include:
- Pulmonary function test lab (where tests are performed to determine how well the lungs are working)
- Endoscopy unit (where the inside of the body is examined using a lighted, flexible instrument)
- Non-invasive cardiology lab (diagnostic tests are performed to identify heart problems)
- 24 hours ambulatory blood pressure monitoring is offered as an outpatient service (blood pressure readings are obtained over a 24 hours period to get a true reflection of blood pressure)
