HMC Nursing Informatics ISO 9001-2015 Certification
An accredited Quality Management system such as ISO 9001-2015 likely will be a standard requirement in the healthcare providers’ field in future. ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System (QMS) assist in continually monitoring and managing quality of service across all operations. As the world’s most widely recognized quality management standard, it outlines ways to achieve, as well as benchmark, consistent performance, and service.
With this vision, Nursing Informatics department implemented the ISO 9001-2015 QMS and was certified during March 2021 for provision of Nursing Informatics services to support healthcare informatics practices, education, and research for nursing staff across Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
With this international certification, the department will maintain processes to improve the services at all levels and ensuring the needs and satisfaction of nursing staff across HMC.
