Dr. Husham Abdelrahman MD, FRCSI, CABS, is the Director of the Trauma Resuscitation Unit at Hamad General Hospital and a Clinical Instructor of Surgery at the Weill Cornell Medical College-Qatar. He is a graduate of the Mansoura Medical Faculty, Mansoura University, Egypt.
Dr. Abdelrahman completed his internship at the Mansoura University Hospital, Mansoura, Egypt, and his residency in General Surgery and Trauma and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Hamad General Hospital. Dr. Abdelrahman specializes in trauma, general surgery and surgical critical care. He has a special interest in medical education, quality and disaster medicine and is a recognized course director/instructor in many international courses, including ATLS, ITLS, ATOM, FCC, FDM, MIMMS, ADAMS, EDAMS and EBA.
