Hatem A. Azim
Medical Oncologist
Dr. Hatem A. Azim Jr. is a medical oncologist, completed his medical training at the National Cancer Institute in Cairo before joining the Jules Bordet Institute in Brussels in 2009 where he worked for 7 years. He holds a Master’s Degree from University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and a PhD from the Faculty of Medicine at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He is highly published mostly in the field of breast cancer in young women with more than 100 published manuscripts. He also served as an invited speaker in all major oncology conferences, notably ASCO, and ESMO. He recently joined a French R&D Biotech to guide the clinical development of 2nd generation immune check-point inhibitors across different tumor types.
