As chairman of the HMC World Arthritis Day committee, it gives me great pleasure to extend greetings and a warm welcome to all of the talented, intelligent, and upstanding primary care physicians attending our HMC World Arthritis Day conference/workshop event.

The HMC Rheumatology Division plans to share with you an extraordinary conference that will include an enlightening program and workshops that cover an array of topics which are of utmost importance to you and to your patients. Our theme for the World Arthritis Day campaign this year is ‘Don’t Delay – Connect Today’. As a primary care physician, you are the backbone of the community and serve as the frontline of wellness. Hence, we value the opportunity to works closely with you to enhance our community’s well-being.

For the first time in the Middle East, we are implementing new techniques and technologies to optimize our interactions with you. This will include electronic platforms between you as the primary care provider and us in secondary care. There will be another innovative electronic platform to communicate with our patients and their caregivers.
