Following a peer review process, a selection of the highest quality accepted abstracts will be subjected to plagiarism check before being edited with further input from authors as required and published in the Open Access Journal of Emergency Medicine, Trauma, and Acute Care (JEMTAC -
https://www.qscience.com/content/journals/jemtac/2022/1).
Please follow the abstract submission guidelines below:
- Abstract title
- Structured Abstract (Background/Methods/Results/Conclusion/References)
- Maximum of 300 words excluding references
- May include up to 2 tables or figures (Cited in the abstract text)
- Up to 3 references maximum should be listed numerically (Vancouver format) at the end of the abstract in their order of citation in the text
- Statement of ethical approval or exemption with committee name and reference number
- Additional section for disclosure/brief acknowledgements may be added
- List 5 keywords
- Statement of approval or refusal to have the submitted abstract published online or in JEMTAC if it is selected for publication
- To have the abstract considered for publication in JEMTAC, include a statement confirming that the information has not previously been published and will not be submitted for publication elsewhere prior to
31 December 2023
- Selection of preferred presentation format (Oral – Face-to-face or poster - Online)
- The presenting author, at least, of an accepted abstract needs to register as a delegate before
10 October 2023 to be included in the oral or poster session and have their abstract considered for publication.
