Mr. Karim Attallah
Critical Care Nurse Educator, HMC
Mr. Karim Attallah is a nurse educator for critical care and trauma service at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. He has more than 16 years’ experience in critical care nursing and nursing education. Karim earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Alexandria University and started his nursing career as critical care nurse in 2004 at the Ministry of Health in Egypt. He joined HMC in October 2014. Since joining, he was involved as a preceptor in training programs for new staff in critical care service then worked his way up to the career ladder until he was promoted to nurse educator for corporate critical care and trauma in February 2018.
Karim’s clinical workload mainly involves in the critical care and trauma provision. He has presented in numerous national and international symposiums as well as conferences. He also participated in various health awareness days and research; participated in research and teaching of nurses; involved in quality projects in the hospital and serve on critical care committees to develop and evaluate practice guidelines and policies.
