
Dr. Mohd Mohd Alhajri

Dr. Mohd Alhajri has been a Director at the Emergency Preparedness and Response Department of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) in Qatar since 2014. He is also a consultant at the MoPH in Community Medicine. Prior to this, Dr. Alhajri was a Health Protection and Communicable Diseases Control Department manager for four years (2010-2014).
Dr. Alhajri represents Qatar’s health sector as a member of many national committees, including the Permanent Emergency Committee, the National Rescue and Relief Committee and the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy. In 2010, he became a member of the National Immunization Technical Advisory Committee (NITAG).
He is the National Coordinator for IHR 2005 for WHO and also a member of the National DRR technical team. On a GCC level, he is a member of the GCC Strategic Stockpile Technical Group.
He has significant experience in research methodologies, outbreak investigation, communicable diseases programs and risk assessments.

- DTM, Diploma in Tropical Medicine from RCSI – 2001
- IDHA, International Diploma for Humanitarian Assistance from the University of Geneva - 2002

- Diploma and Membership of Travel Medicine - DTM & MFTM Glasgow 2017.
