Dr. Mohammed Alsaey is on the German Board of Oral Surgeons from University of Tubingen in Germany; a member of the German Dental Association (Bundes Zahanärzte Kammer - Arbeitsgemeinshaft) and an active and dedicated member of European Association for Sports Dentistry (EA4SD).
He is presently the Director of Sports Dentistry and a consultant in Oral Surgery at Aspetar. Additionally, at present he is leading the Sports Dentistry initiative within the National Oral Health Strategy (NOHS), Qatar.
Dr. Alsaey is also a member of the expert panel of “Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery” scope of practice”, Qatar.
Moreover, he has a diploma in sports dentistry from UK and the first Qatari dentist to be certified in Sports Dentistry. Dr. Mohammed also has a diploma in dental in implantology from UK.
Similarly, Dr. Mohammed Alsaey introduced the first Dental Emergency Kit for athletes in the Middle East and he is deeply involved in promoting good oral health within the sports community through educational programmes. Consequently, he’s recently received certificates of intellectual creativity for the Dental Emergency Kit from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the State of Qatar.
Likewise, he developed the first sports dentistry screening programme to contribute to the assessment of the overall health of athletes at Aspetar.
