Abstract

Dear Colleagues,

Submit your abstract for the Qatar International Neonatal Conference (QINC) 2026, taking place in Doha, Qatar, on 6–7 November 2026.

We welcome submissions from neonatologists, neonatal nurses and practitioners, medical professionals with interest in neonatal care, trainees, and allied health professionals.

Abstract categories:

• Original Research
• Case Reports or Case Series
• Quality Improvement Projects
• Clinical Effectiveness Research
• Nursing Service Development or Care Practices
• Traditional Audits (must demonstrate a high standard of quality)

Abstracts will be evaluated based on:

• Scientific merit
• Relevance to QINC objectives
• Originality
• Methodology and statistical rigor
• Clarity, grammar, and punctuation

Requirements:

• Abstracts must be written in English.
• The work submitted must be unpublished.
• Authors of accepted abstracts are expected to present their work.
• Abstracts that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

• Maximum length: 300 words, including background, methods, results, and conclusion.
• One table or one figure may be included.

Presentation formats:

• Oral Presentation: 10-minute presentation plus 5-minute discussion (limited number available)
• Poster Walk: 5-minute presentation plus 3-minute discussion at the poster display
• Poster Display: No presentation required.

Posters will be displayed in digital screens with size A0 (portrait) PDF format.

Please indicate your preferred presentation format when submitting your abstract.

The final presentation format will be determined by the Scientific Committee based on scientific merit, reviewer scores, and program requirements.

We accept submissions on a variety of topics related to neonatal perinatal medicine including

• Point of care ultrasonography
• Advances in neonatal intensive care
• Advances in neonatal respiratory care
• Neonatal resuscitation and emergency care
• Neonatal hemodynamics
• Care of the extremely premature
• Antenatal/perinatal care
• Chronic lung disease
• Neonatal brain, and neuroprotection, and neurodevelopment
• Congenital anomalies, genetic disorders, and rare neonatal diseases
• Advances in neonatal surgical care

Deadline for abstract submission: 30 September 2026

Please note that accepted abstracts require the author to register and attend the conference in person.

We are delighted to invite neonatal physicians, pediatricians, neonatal nurses, and allied health professionals (Respiratory Therapists, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, Social Workers, and Quality Professionals) to submit abstracts for the Qatar International Neonatal Conference 2026. This event will be held in Doha, Qatar from 6 to 7 November 2026.

We seek high-quality abstracts that showcase:

• Original Research
• Case Reports or Case Series
• Quality Improvement Projects
• Clinical Effectiveness Research
• Nursing Service Development or Care Practices
  
• Traditional Audits must meet a high standard of quality to be considered 

Abstracts not complying with these guidelines will not be accepted.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Length: Maximum of 400 words. No more than one table or graph is allowed.

Presentation Format 

• Oral presentation: 10 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of discussion (limited selection).
• Poster walk: 2 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for discussion. Presentations will be held in front of the poster in the poster area.
• Poster display: Abstracts not accepted for one of the above formats can be accepted as poster displays – with no presentation time.

Please indicate your preferred selection from the above choices.
