Dr. Irfan Muneeb is a Consultant Geriatrician working at Hamad Medical Corporation in the Geriatric and Long Term Care Department, joining the Geriatric Team in October 2018. His special interests include Frailty and Heart Failure in Geriatric Population Group.
He was trained in the West Midlands in the UK and did his first Consultant Post in Walsall Manor Hospital, UK. He was Consultant lead for Frailty service at WMH and is a member of West Midlands Quality Review Service (WMQRS).
He was also Clinical Director for Elderly Care and Stroke services in WMH. He has been involved in a lot of Quality Improvement Projects in Hamad and in his previous role.
