Dr Jameela graduated with Honor form the medical school at Arabian Gulf University. Dr Jameela went to United states and has completed her residency and fellow ship programs in the United states where , she finished the internal medicine residency in Eason , Hahnemann University, , Pennsylvania, USA , then she did a fellowship in geriatric medicine in Temple University in Pennsylvania, then did a fellowship in infectious diseases at Yale University IN New haven, Connecticut,  USA.

Dr Jameela is triple American Board certifications: American Board in internal Medicine, American Board in geriatric Medicine, American Board In Infectious Diseases. Dr Jameela has the board in infection control and recently the American board in medical quality.

She has many publications in the peer reviewed journals. She is involved in a wide range of educational activities. She received several honors and awards for her scientific contribution internationally. She is a member in several Professional Societies.
