Dr. Darwish is Senior Consultant Diabetes and Endocrinology in the Department of Medicine at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar. She is Assistant Professor of Medicine Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar as well as the Endocrine Fellowship Program Director.
Dr. Darwish is Assistant Vice chairperson Medical Quality at HMC and also undertook the IHI Fellowship- Qatar.
Dr. Darwish has many research activities and has interest in quality improvement and was a quality coach in the clinical care improvement training program.
