Prof. Atul Shinagare is an Associate Professor at Harvard Medical School, Chief of Abdominal Imaging at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Interim Chief of Department of Imaging at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Boston. His areas of clinical and research interests include genitourinary cancers and improving the quality of radiology reports. He has received numerous awards, including the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Honored Educator award, the RSNA Research Scholar grant and Shore Fellowship for Scholars in Medicine. He is the Fellow of the Society of Abdominal Radiology, Vice-Chair of the SAR Uterine and Ovarian Cancer Disease Focused Panel, serves as Associate Editor for the journal Abdominal Radiology, and is the Section Editor for Cancer Imaging, in addition to serving on a number of national committees.
