About QCAM 2019

Objectives:

In keeping with the international standards in clinical MRI practice in body imaging, we would like to establish an intensive practical course on abdominal and pelvic MR imaging during a two-day conference. The course will include image interpretation, modern MRI techniques and updated MR applications for hepatobiliary diseases, pancreatic diseases, GI, Kidneys, adrenals as well as gynecological disorders and prostate.

Course Goals and Outline:

The two day course consists of three key components:
  1. Short and comprehensive didactic lectures with pertinent imaging pointers covering current topics for MRI application in various disease entities.
  2. Dedicated advanced MRI technology and applied sequence based lectures  
  3. Case based discussion that re-emphasizes points covered in the didactic lectures. The goal is to engage in audience participation and discuss the approach to cases in clinical practice.

Target audience:

Radiologists (consultants, specialists, fellows and residents), technologists, nurses, interested colleagues and referring physicians.
