The objective of QCAM 2017 is to offer an intensive, practical three-day course on abdominal and pelvic magnetic resonance imaging in keeping with international standards in clinical MRI practice for body imaging. This course will cover image interpretation, modern MRI techniques and updated MRI applications for hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, GI, kidney, adrenals and gynecological and prostate disorders.
Course Goals and Outline
This three-day course will consist of three key components:
- Short didactic lectures covering current topics for MRI application in various disease entities; short comprehensive with pertinent imaging pointers.
- Case based discussion re-emphasizing points covered in the didactic lectures; the goal is to engage in audience participation and discuss the approach to cases in clinical practice.
- Live reporting sessions with case based panel discussions tailored to performance and approaches to structured reporting of commonly performed MRI exams.

This course will be of interest to radiologists (consultants, specialists, residents and fellows), as well as referring physicians and technologists with an interest in medical imaging.
