Hamad Medical Corporation’s Center for Patient Experience and Staff Engagement (CPESE) is proud to announce Qatar’s first ever Patient Experience Forum which will take place later this year.
The Patient Experience Forum 2019 which will take place from 16 to 17 November 2019 at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, Doha will be the first of its kind in the country.
Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has partnered with internationally renowned US-based healthcare consultants, Planetree Inc. to develop the forum program and further enhance HMC’s commitment to ‘putting the patient first.’
A large number of renowned international speakers will be in attendance together with local and regional faculty. They will hold both didactic and working sessions on a number of patient experience related topics. These will cover three broad themes:
Better Engagement, Better Experiences and
Better Culture and Healthy Communities. An award ceremony and poster exhibition are also planned.
Over 1000 delegates including doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and administrators from public and private institutions from across Qatar and the region are expected to attend the event to learn about a more patient-centered approach to care through a real partnership with patients and their families. This will help ensure the best possible health outcome for the patient and an optimum healthcare experience.
