Dr. Hanan Saleh Alyazeedi A Alyafei
Dr. Hanan is a Sr. Consultant at Home Healthcare Services (HHCS), Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC). She joined HMC in 2016 as a consultant. From 2016 to 2020, she was appointed as the Deputy Medical Director, where she managed HHCS by ensuring and maintaining the quality and efficiency of clinical services and professional performance of physicians.
Dr. Hanan is a Clinical Advisor for various quality improvement projects. She was elected as a Clinical Guide and Project lead for SEPSIS and Community Antimicrobial Stewardship Project of HHCS. She is a leader and a member of the IA Working Group, and she is actively involved at the National Patient Safety Collaborative and Healthy Ageing. She is also a Clinical Champion for Planetree International’s PCC Program and a Physician QI Lead from HHCS. She was a speaker at the Middle East Forum 2019, the Patient Experience Forum 2019, Qatar International Geriatrics and Gerontology Virtual Conference 2021, and the PCC virtual forum 2022.
From 2008 to 2016, Dr. Hanan used to work as a Consultant at Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), where she was the focal person at both Antenatal and Mental Health clinics. She has earned her medical degree in 2000 and Doctorate degree in 2002 from Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain and served her residency program at HMC in 2003.
