Dr. Helen Crisp, BA
Dr. Helen Crisp, BA, has 25 years’ experience of working in quality improvement in healthcare. In April 2017 she started her own consultancy providing strategic review services, training, writing and editing. She is also Editor-in-Chief of BMJ Open Quality. Prior to this, she was Assistant Director of Research at the Health Foundation where she managed a £4 million per year grants programme, for research into patient safety, quality improvement methods and person-centred care, together with developing the improvement science fellowship and PhD programmes.
Helen has a deep interest in understanding what works to improve healthcare quality and how it works.
