Mr. Emran is a Senior Quality Improvement Reviewer in Hamad Healthcare Quality Institute. He obtained his BSc. of Nursing from University of Mosul and MSc. of Medical Education from University Sains Malaysia in 2002 and 2008 respectively.
In addition to his nursing and medical education background, he has undergone a number of healthcare quality related training courses out of HMC like Six Sigma Green Belt certificate and within HMC like the Clinical Care Improvement Program (CCITP) and Quality Management Education Program (QMEP).
He has three years’ experience as university nursing lecturer, three years’ experience as hospital staff nurse and more than four years’ experience in healthcare quality improvement. This experience and qualifications have given him the background knowledge and skills which enables him to make an immediate contribution and supporting hospital specific quality improvement.
Mr. Emran is actively involved in many Healthcare quality improvement and patient safety conferences, symposiums and trainings. Currently, he is Member on the IHI Professional Development Program Wave 54, (Improvement Advisor training program (IA)).
Mr. Emran is particularly interested in coaching and mentoring quality improvement activities across Healthcare System, Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and Continuous Nursing Education (CNE) to ensure Patient Safety delivery and quality of service Improvement in healthcare systems.
