Dr. Aisha Hussain Al Adab is a Senior Consultant in Medicine specializing in Pulmonary, Allergy Medicine and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Aisha started out her career after earning her MD degree at the Arabian Gulf University in Bahrain. She then proceeded to complete her Internship and Residency Programs at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar which culminated in her certification to the Arab Board Health Specialization for Internal Medicine. Dr. Aisha became a Fellow in the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) in 2013, and then proceeded to complete her Fellowship Program for Sleep Medicine from the King Saud University in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Aisha has been very active in teaching Residents, Fellow and Medical Students particularly in the field of Pulmonology. Also Associate Fellowship program director in Pulmonary medicine.
She then completed Fellowship Program in Quality in The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) in Boston Institute for Healthcare Improvement which has more than 25 years of partnership with visionaries, leaders, and front-line practitioners around the globe to spark bold, inventive ways to improve the health of individuals and populations. IHI's work is focused in five key areas: Improvement, Capability, Person- and Family-Centered Care, Patient Safety, Quality, Cost, and Value and Triple Aim for Populations.
