Sara Hassan

Dr. Sara Hassan is a Senior Fellow in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, Hamad General Hospital.

 She  finished both her pre-medical and medical education in Weill Cornell Medical College -Qatar (WCMC-Q), and graduated in May 2009 with Academic Excellence.  She  joined the General Surgery Residency training program in Hamad Medical Corporation in October  2009. She finished her  Arab Board Residency program and received her  Certificate in Arab Board of Medical Specializations in General Surgery in March 2015. She joined the first batch of Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Fellowship in July 2016 and currently she is  finishing her  last year of fellowship.  She was appointed as a Fellow in WCMC-Q academic staff in July 2018 and still holds that post currently.

She has been involved in multiple teaching posts during her college and career years,  starting from tutoring junior students and organizing summer enrichment programs and also as  a speaker/facilitator in the Communication Skills (ComSkills) Course held by HMC Medical Education department.
