Dr. Noha Iessa, MPharm, PGDip, MSc, PhD
Technical Officer at WHO in Safety and Vigilance of medicines
Dr. Noha joined the WHO Safety and Vigilance team in 2015. She completed her PhD in 2013 University College London. Dr. Noha’s research was primarily in the area of pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance, focusing on the use and safety of medicines in children, adolescents and in pregnancy. Prior to this, Dr. Noha worked as a clinical pharmacist at the University College London Hospital. She also holds a postgraduate diploma in clinical pharmacy and a Master’s degree in Public Health and Health Service Management.
