Dr. Palmira Caparrotti
Dr. Palmira Caparrotti is a Senior Consultant and Clinical Lead in the Department of Radiotherapy and Radiation Oncology at the National Center for Cancer Care and Research (NCCCR) in Doha, where she has been practicing since 2014. Prior to this, she trained and worked at the Sacred Heart Catholic University (UCSC), Umberto I University Hospital and San Giovanni Calibita Fatebenefratelli Hospital in Rome, collaborating with leading national experts in breast cancer management and refining her expertise in radiation oncology.
Dr. Caparrotti is a core member and deputy chair of the Breast Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and contributes to the national strategy as part of Qatar’s National Clinical Advisory Group for breast cancer.
Her clinical interests focus on regional nodal irradiation, heart-sparing techniques, and radiotherapy de-escalation strategies in the modern management of breast cancer, including oncoplastic and post-operative challenges.
