Dr Kulsoom Junejo is currently working as a Senior Consultant Breast Surgeon and Clinical Lead for Breast Services in Hamad Medical Corporation. She is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College-Qatar, Associate program Director of Breast Fellowship program, Councilor of American College of Surgeons Qatar Chapter.
She is a Corporate Lead for Surgery in Continuous Professional Development Program and a core member of Breast Multidisciplinary team, Breast Cancer Awareness team, Quality Patient Safety committee, Corporate Clinical Privileges committee and Core faculty of General Surgery Residency program at HMC.
She acquired her Medical Degree and initial training in Pakistan and higher surgical training from UK, Europe and USA. She is a fellow of Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Fellow of American College of Surgeons and is European Board certified.
She is actively involved in Breast Cancer research being Principal Investigator in multiple research projects at national and international level. She has been a speaker and panel member at various National and International conferences, attended and conducted numerous seminars, symposia and workshops. She has published in various international peer reviewed journals and is a reviewer for scientific journals.
Dr Junejo is a highly skilled and experienced Breast Surgeon with a keen interest in medical research and vast teaching experience, aspiring to improve healthcare of cancer patients worldwide.
