Farzana Badshah is a dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialist in breast surgical oncology at the Surgical Specialty Center, Hamad General Hospital, part of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in Qatar. With a strong academic foundation, she holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Nursing from the University of Calgary in Qatar.
Farzana began her journey with HMC in 2008, where she initially served as a staff nurse. Her commitment to excellence and patient-centered care led her to take on the role of Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Coordinator, where she played a key role in streamlining collaborative care for oncology patients. Her current role as a Clinical Nurse Specialist allows her to combine clinical expertise with compassionate care, supporting patients through complex surgical oncology pathways.
Passionate about oncology nursing, Farzana is a strong advocate for enhancing the role of nurses in the patient journey. She is particularly focused on improving patient engagement and ensuring that nursing professionals are empowered to contribute meaningfully to multidisciplinary care.
