Dr Mamoun Mobayed has a special interest in psychosocial trauma of conflicts and disasters, with many field visits to West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Kashmir, Kosovo, Bosnia, Tunisia, China and now with the Syrians in Turkey, Lebanon and Jordon.
He is the current president of the Syrian Association for Mental Health (Turkey)
Dr Mobayed has published several research papers on biological psychiatry and more than twelve books on Psychiatry, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Parenting Training, Marital Communication, Child’s Identity, Introduction to Psychology, Sex Education, Emotional Intelligence and Tele-Psychiatric consultation, and on Solution Focused Brief Therapy.
