Dr. Jeremy Jonathan Owen Herod

Dr. Jonathan Herod is the Director of Transformation and Senior Consultant/Lead Clinician for Gynaecological Oncology at Hamad Women’s Wellness and Research Center (WWRC). Jonathan originally trained in Birmingham UK including time spent as the Cancer Research Campaign Clinical Research Fellow for Gynaecological Oncology. He has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and continues to enjoy an interest in clinical research and in clinical education.
Before arriving in Doha in 2015 Jonathan worked as a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist and as the Medical Director of the Liverpool Women’s Wellness and Research Center (WWRC) in the United Kingdom. He has extensive experience related to post-graduate examinations and has ran specialized MRCOG written and OSCE courses in the UK for many years. Dr Herod was the organizer of the DRCOG examinations in Liverpool for 16 years; a former member of the RCOG DRCOG sub-committee; and currently serves on the panel of examiners for the MRCOG examinations.
