Dr. Hisham Abdelrahman Ahmed

Dr. Hisham Ahmed is the current Head of Emergency Department at WWRC and Senior Consultant at OBGYN, WWRC. He was also decorated the position of Associate Program Director in OBGYN residency program until January 2015.
Dr. Hisham graduated from Russian Friendship university in 1995, MD in OB/GYN Sudan- University of Khartoum in 2004 and Master’s degree of ob/Gyn ultrasound Ian Donald school in 2011.
February 2006, Dr. Hisham joined University of Medical Sciences in Sudan as a consultant and lecturer where he continued working, leading a unit till Feb 2007. I joined Women Hospital HMC as specialist in Feb 2007. Since joining HMC, I was extensively involved in both clinical and academic aspects of the specialty. I continued to be involved in the process of training and medical education. I was elected 3 times in the last 6 years as best teacher in Ob /Gyn department in Women Hospital, supervised many residents’ researches for Arab Board, I am also extensively involved in hospital administration by being member of many hospital committees: clinical pathways and guidelines, core faculty and educational, quality, theatre and member of many investigation committees.
