Alhan Ahmed Jama

Ms. Alhan Ahmed Jama, RN, BSN, MSN, earned her Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Science in Nursing from University of Calgary in Qatar. She has 20 years of nursing experience and three years of experience as a colorectal clinical nurse specialist. She is a core member of Colorectal MDT where she acts as a facilitator and advocate between patients and other members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure a high standard of care is delivered. On Tuesdays, there is a nurse-led clinic where patients are seen to discuss their forthcoming surgery and site them for stoma formation as necessary. She continues to see patients in wards to ensure the Enhanced Recovery Program (ERP) is followed which helps speeding up the patient’s recovery.
