Ahmed Ba-Ssalamah

Ahmed Ba-Ssalamah is a medical doctor and Associate Professor of the radiology at the General Hospital of Vienna at the Medical University of Vienna where he is the head of the Body MRI division of the General and Pediatric Radiology Department. He is the Chief of gastro-abdominal scientific working group. His subspeciality is abdominal radiology and his field of interest in scientific research is abdominal imaging with focus on the hepatobiliary-, and pancreas-imaging as well as imaging of the gastro-intestinal tract, in particular oncologic diseases including gastro- and esophageal cancer. He has many publications in these fields and participated and presented papers in several national and international radiological congresses  He is member of many radiological Societies and reviewer of many journals

He has more than 140 published articles and he is author of 20 book chapters
