Dr. Salwa M Abuyaqoub

Dr. Salwa is a Senior Consultant, Residency Training Program Director of OB/GYN and Vice Chair for Education and Training at Women’s Wellness and Research Center, Hamad Medical Corporation. She is an active member of Arab Board Training Committee.
Dr. Salwa has been involved in education and training since 2009 and her focus is residency training and education. She developed many courses such as Basic Surgical Skills in OB/GYN, TeamSTEPPS (focusing mainly on interdisciplinary communication during emergency), built 1st OSCE training program in the Middle East for the Arab Board Training candidate since 2014 and later in 2017, 2018 and 2019. She is also an Instructor at Hamad International Training Center for Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO) and Basic Life Support in Obstetrics (BLSO) courses and TeamSTEPPS courses.
