Ms. Mariam Al-Mutawa

Ms. Mariam Al Mutawa has been the Acting Chief Nursing Officer at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) since 2020, overseeing a diverse team of over 11,000 nurses and midwives. She played a crucial role as the nursing lead during the COVID-19 pandemic and for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. With 26 years of nursing experience, including a decade in leadership, Ms. Mariam is committed to developing young Qatari nurses and mentors future leaders through the Nagwa program. A member of the Nursing Now – Qatar initiative board, she has represented Qatari nurses at major events and was the first Qatari nursing executive in the Qatar Leadership Center's Executive Leadership program.
