Kumari Thankam S Ammal is the Director of Nursing Education at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) with over 25 years of clinical and educational experience. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s in nursing from India, as well as a postgraduate diploma in palliative care and a certificate in medical education from the UK. Currently, she is pursuing her PhD in India. Kumari is the Chair of NMED’s Teaching and Learning Board, Program Director with ANCC, and Nursing CPD focal lead with DHP. She oversees the development of CPD programs, ensuring compliance with DHP and ANCC standards. Passionate about quality education, she also actively engages in community and professional organizations.
