After two very successful conferences in the last two years, the third Qatar Internal Medicine Conference 2016, organized by General Internal Medicine - Hamad General Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) will be held on 6 to 8 October 2016 in Doha, Qatar.
The aim of this conference is to provide a platform for clinicians, academicians and researchers from Qatar, Gulf Corporation Council (GCC) countries and the rest of the world to present their clinical contributions and research results in Internal Medicine and its subspecialties.
This three day event has up to 21 CPD hours accredited by QCHP-CPD and is also endorsed by the American College of Physicians (ACP), Society of Hospital Medicine of USA, MTCC and Mediterranean Association for Study of Liver (MASL). It is also supported by the Royal College of Physicians of UK.
On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to invite you to participate in this distinguished event. The 3rd Qatar Internal Medicine Conference will provide delegates with an intensive and exciting scientific program packed with the latest knowledge, covering a number of important Internal Medicine topics, featuring many experts and contributors in the different fields of Internal Medicine from across the world. It is an opportunity to meet and exchange knowledge in an event that will include plenary lectures, mini-symposia, meet the expert sessions, case-based discussions, clinical debates and a number of workshops on different topics of Internal Medicine. Additionally, a postgraduate course will also be held.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract booklet and in the open access journal: IJMBS (a peer reviewed, open access Medical Journal indexed in DOAJ, Google Scholar, EBSCO, SCIRUS, Open-J-Gate, Journal seek, and others). Distinguished presentations (oral and poster) will be awarded in the conference.
Doha, the capital of the State of Qatar, is a magnificent city bordered by deserts and beaches; home to stark contrasts, from intriguing Islamic culture to an ultra-modern, high-tech metropolis of the 21st century. The city is an international hub for conferences and exhibitions and a highly acclaimed leisure destination that boasts a great heritage, beautiful buildings, excellent restaurants and fascinating museums and historic sites.
I hope that you will have a valuable scientific encounter at the conference and a memorable stay in Doha.
